Are Electric Gates suitable for residential or commercial use?

Electric gates designed, manufactured and installed correctly can be used for both residential and commercial use. That’s why it’s important to use a long-standing company with experience in the industry to assist you throughout the process to ensure the installation is dealt with correctly from start to finish keeping in mind the site restraints and usage. How you would design and install a residential installation in comparison to a commercial installation would vary massively and it’s important to use highly-skilled, highly trained and experienced designers like we have here at ‘The Electric Gate Company’ to ensure its dealt with correctly.

Do I need to decide what gates I need before I contact you?

No we will help you choose the best material to suit your wants and needs. We can discuss all options with you to give you a clearer understanding of steel & wooden gates and we'll also help with the design of your gates and how they will work. Once you have made a decision on which electric gate you would like, our fully trained and skilled staff will install and maintain your electric gates without fuss.

How are the electric gates powered

Most electric gates are powered by your standard mains supply, if you have a mains supply close to the gate location, or maybe it will have to come from the property that is will protect. Solar energy is also an option and this will be discussed before our experts visit for a no obligation survey. With our systems we also offer you a battery back-up option, so you can have use of the gates even if the mains poser fails.

Are Electric Gates Secure?

Our Electric Gates are installed to a high-standard can be extremely secure and act as a great deterrent for unwanted trespassers. When designing a gate system it is important to select the correct automation from a trusted supplier and ensuring any accessories needed to make the gates more secure are integrated. We would always advise a PGL600 Maglock to be installed where security is paramount. The heavy-duty magnetic locks have a holding force of 600KG and will make the gates much more secure.

What will I use to control my gates

State-of-the-Art commitment. There are many forms of gate control systems from simple push buttons for low security sites to bio-metric and VNPR (vehicle number plate recognition) There are intercoms that work with the mobile phone network, or the local internet connections. We will help you make the correct decision based on your needs.

Are the electric gates cared for after you install them?

Yes, The Electric Gate Company Ltd will use its own fully trained staff to visit on a planned maintenance programme ensuring your gates will always be in good and safe condition.

How long does it take to install my electric gates and will I need my own builder/groundworker?

Yes and No, if you have a builder or ground worker you want to use then we will work with them to ensure everything runs smoothly.
We will supply them with detailed CAD drawings and even visit you with them to ensure they know everything they should. Or we can undertake the complete project from start of the project through to final handover.
Simply let us know what's best for you and proceed accordingly.
